good or bad decision?
Right now I drive an '07 Civic Si 4-door with ~24k miles on it. I recently found a '03 black on black AP1 with about 25k miles on it. (EXACTLY what I want)
The dealership I found it at is trying to **** me over on the the value of my car. When they "worked on some numbers" yesterday, they used NADA to find the value of their car and KBB on the value of my car. The difference came out to about $4000. If they had used NADA to find the value of my car also, it would have shown that the difference is only about $1,800 (which I found out as soon as I got home from the dealership). I guess they thought I wouldn't notice, but don't worry. I'm going to bring in some numbers of my own next time I go in there haha.
Anyways... the main question I'm asking is if y'all think it's a good decision. Right now my car is completely stock and under warranty for another year or two. The S2k has no warranty other than the 30 day warranty and I'd probably have to purchase anything beyond that. I've driven it and it seems like it's in great condition for a five year old car, but I was just wondering what y'alls opinion is. The S2000 if definitely a much funner car.

Welcome!!
The s2k sounds like it might be in really decent shape since the miles are low.
Not sure I can tell you if it is a good decision for you. Only you know what you need in a car. But if you have some questions about the s2k that can help you decide...definitely ask!
I can tell you that the Carolina s2k community is very active and strong. You will have a blast with the other owners. You might post up in the Carolina s2ki forum...someone may know the car you are looking at.

Compared to the deals that people are finding these days I feel like I sorta got ****ed too. I traded my 07 4door Si in back in September for a 05 Sebring silver. The Si had 29,300miles on it and they gave me $18500. The S2k had 32,000 on it and they did $21000 with a full 3 year bumper to bumper extended warranty. Not too bad but i've heard of 05 going much cheaper now. Your Si should definately be worth more than the S2k buy a few thousand at least.
