Wink Got bit by the S2000 bug!

sup all!

well just a little about me first!

i am 21 live in FL.

and my first car was a 97 VR6 GTI that i nicely tuned!

then sold it and bought a mazda3 S 2006.

and not to found of it, i need more power!

so i went to my usual saturday ramdom dealer test drive (yeah i do that while SHE is at the hairdresser for 2 hours) and i went and test drove a 2002 S2k.
was light silver with some very nice 18 inch chromes that actualy looked very good!

i drove the hell out of that car, the dealer next to me was getting a little scared!

and i was amased by the power and the overall of this car!

i test drove STI / evos speed6 and some other nice and fancy cars!

but when the dealer told me he could sell it to me for 17K i was like wow, i need to get myself one!

so i am guess and hoping i can sell my mazda for like 16 or 17 if i am lucky!

and then go ahead and buy me a S2K.

but what do u guys think the insurance will cost me?
arm? leg? both?

and then what year would be best

2000
2001
2002
2003
??? i dont think i can afford any above those years

and does the HT comes stock or i need to buy one seperatly how much would it cost?

and then how is the FI on this car? just want to skiz a little over 90hp make it a 310 WHP car?

what do u guys recommend?

ok cya

yeah just look for a 2002 model...looks like thats in your price range..insurance should be high since you're not that old.for FI you can go either S/C or T/C...basic bolt on for both will get you round 310whp....

peace

do yourself a favor, and do not get anything older than an 02, due to some little changes, and most important, the 02's and above have the glass rear window.

goog luck with getting one man. The hard top does not come with the car. You can find some pretty good deals on used ones from time to time, but if you want a new one. Depending if you want mugen, OEM, etc. You can expect to pay a few grand for one. Good luck with selling the mazda man. Lates.
