Default Hello from Texas!

Hey guys, figured i'd introduce myself. I've been lurking around the forums for a while since i became interested in the s2k, but only recently acquired one. Story goes like this. I had a 97 saleen that was built to 468rwhp / 521 ft/lb. Sold it cheap cuz i just couldn't deal with stuff that kept breaking... it's hard to keep something running well with so much torque and it being a DD. I also had a bike at the time, so that became my daily for a few months since I didn't work and all I did was go to school, which UT gives a shuttle for.

Then one day a few weeks back, it was a friday morning... i was ready to go to work, walk out, and my heart sunk. My bike was gone. Of all the bikes, they took mine. I'll admit mine was more custom than everyone elses since I bought it wrecked and poored my heart and soul to rebuilding it to the way it was. So now how am I supposed to get to work? That friday i pretty much sat at work for 8 hours looking for a car and neglected my work. Found a s2k for pretty cheap, but had a lot of miles, which I don't mind since these motors are so much cheaper than the v8 motor's i've dealt with in the past. So i bought it.

My review of the s2k... Coming to something with half the torque is hard, but the mileage is so much better. The handling is great compared to the saleen, which was no slouch either, but felt like a boat compared to this. Love the way the seats hug you, but I'm kind of short, so I kind of wished it was adjustable in height.

Thing's I've learned... there's a place for the gas cap when filling! I never knew that lol. I didn't realize that until i sat down to read the manual and then an "oh!!!" came over me as i was thinking when i filled her up... "this is retarded, where the hell am i supposed to put the cap?" I also realized how important a damn clock is... I don't wear watches anymore and always relied on my vehicle's clock.

Anyways, just wanted to do a long-winded "HI!". I'll post pics of my old car, bike, and s2k when i get home.
