hi everybody
hey everyone thought i would make my introduction, not really new to the forums, im a long time lurker, but i never signed up because i dont own an S2000 and didnt feel the need to... that being said ive recently taken on a big enough bump in salary that i can finally get one and im happy to say i am currently in the process of hunting one down as we speak and would like to say im looking for a low mileage AP1 with red interior but will most likely end up with an AP2 simply due to availability and mileage... ive already been through the "new buyers" thread which outlines what to look for in a used S2000 and have found it VERY helpful thus far in my endeavors, however if there is any info anyone else would like to add please let me know, any and all help is great! A little bit about me, im an engineer working in Dallas Texas and i have built 3 project cars in recent years, an EP3, 2004 SVTf, and i am currently working on a 2002SVTf( i love hatches)... active in local SCCA, i make as many track days as i can afford each season, and i make about 5 or 6 serious road trips a year down to the Texas hill country to tear up tires and "cruise" although it never turns out to be a "cruise" and im really looking forward to having such a potent weapon as an S2000 to wield against those cocky BMW M's next spring when heading down there... plans for my future S2000 as of yet include A LOT of carbon products from forbidden, very light power mods(i,h,e,) BRIDE low max seats, and a suitable wheel/tire/suspension set up for my needs, so far im thinking maybe just koni's and springs, until i can further research which coils will suit my driving style and needs...
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your bump in pay!
Only thing I can think of adding is just to be patient in your search and don't settle for just any car. The right one will eventually come along. You'll probably find a better selection in the colder months, maybe even at lower prices! But who knows? You could get lucky!

Thanks alot for the welcome and advice. I like to think i'm treating this search the same way I would if I were looking to buy a sport bike or anyother toy, not getting in any, hurry and taking the time to search and make sure everything is just right...
