Default I got ........2003 S2000

Hi all

I finally did it. I finally bit the bullet and got the car i have wanted for ages in the colour i wanted, silver with red seats and a glass rear windscreen. I was concerned about fuel economy and with this being my first RWD car but as soon as i drove it i knew it would be mines. Still getting used to the car and find myself being VERY careful in the wet.

I love driving the car and the sound is awesome when vtec kicks in.

The car only came with 1 key and no service history which made me a bit suspicious but used that to bring the price further down. I have since called Honda and to my surprise it has a full dealer service history......RESULT!!!!

One question i have is i need to get myself a spare key and fob. Is there anywhere i can get this other than Honda or should i hand my wallet over and tell them to help themselves.

Programming the key is generally what costs a lot of money, you can save some pennies sourcing the key yourself. Cut is usually free/cheap.

I just called Honda there and its £42.25 for the key including cutting, 162.20 for the fob and £60 to programme all of this. Surely there's got to be a cheaper way to do this!!!

Can anyone point me in the right direction that's not a Honda dealership
