sounds like you need to get your self some new freinds. i have never had any one say anything bad about my s,, everyone loves it as much as i do.

 

Sounds to me like you need to hang out with a higher class of people.

 

People talking trash about an S2000? Haha, you should buy one and start hanging out with the local S2k communities and going on real drives, not kiddie street races.

 

It's a fun car to drive, bottom line. It handles very well and just feels like you're in complete control of the car. I've gone through phases of wanting another car but I just couldn't get myself to let go of the S.

It's a well rounded car. It's fast enough for me. It handles well. It looks ####ing awesome. It's not as common. The gearbox is one of a kind.

Seriously, just find a friend with a s2k and take it for a real drive. You won't look back after that.

The only thing that slightly bothered me was the lack of space. I jumped from an Accord sedan to this. After a while, I got used to it. Plus, it helped me get more organized since I couldn't throw all my junk in the back anymore.

Think to yourself, "What do I really want in a car?"

 

I remember I always thought the S was a cool looking car when it came out and love the digi gauges.

But what bothered me was it seemed a little too small and "miata like" (please forgive me) I was an NSX owner at the time and didnt think anything would be better.

About a year ago, (When I still had the NSX) I drove my buddies 05 S2K, and to my surprise, I felt it was a better machine and more responsive than my beloved NSX. Its a feeling that no car compares to, so connected that YOU ARE THE CAR!

So thats when the garage queen moved out to make room for the new lady.

 

everyone thrashes the S2000, considering that it is the ONLY true sportscar in the list of cars you mentioned. all the other cars are based on non sport car platforms. the S is the only one of that bunch that was intended for one purpose, the twisties.

The S2000 is not for everyone, I have a daily driver, I can not imagine driving my S everyday all day.

stop to think about what's important to you in a car, then make your choice. good luck.

 

Thanks Guys Im gonna go with the S2K. My reasons are:
The evo/subie are nice but Im not a 4 door kind of person.
The G35 does have 4 seats, a roomie trunk, and luxury but its a pig.
The 350z is nice but I might as well get the G cuz you dont get anything extra in the 350z with all the weight.

I love the feel of zipping through traffic in my tiny honda. Plus I gotta own atleast one car I can roll with the top down lol. I mean if I get annoyed of the soft top I can go hard top and it looks just as sexy.

go with an s2000!! our cars are popular and eye catching, but every other car's EVERYWHERE!! i was driving downtown on the freeway and on the way, i saw 6 350z!!!!!!! WOW!! EVO's, 3!! as for the other cars u mention, i'm sure u can say they're very popular cars on the streets also!! g35, everyone has one... WRX, i see one everyday!!

the entire day until now, i'm back at home, i've only seen one other s2000, a silverstone 04-05!!

but none the less, they're all sweet cars!!
