^I like my plastic rear window and a 100 dollar cd player with some 04 speakers works quite nicely

I have an 01 GPW with red/black interior and wouldn't have it any other way. Also have a hardtop and love it as well. 28k measly miles on it and have to wait for good weather to put on some more. If you do go with GPW Red or Red/Black, you won't be dissapointed.

Everyone trash talks the S2000 because honda has a bad name as far as performance. Until i give them a ride, at which point i hear alot of "Dude dude dude DUDE!!!" or "yo yooo yooo yo yo" as they cling onto the door handle or something close. That usually shuts them up

i thought the ferrari was a "special" car too and it is. but after driving a couple f430 s, i realized that the S has the same special qualities. it's hard to explain, but the 2 cars are very similar in feel, albeit the ferrari is very loud and faster.

wow that's disappointing to hear. i've heard from the few people that i know that have driven the 430 that it is near perfection...they are die-hard ferrari guys admittedly.

So 00-03 has the 2.0L and a 9k Redline and the 04-current have 2.2L 8k Redline? What would be better?

Again, personal tastes. The 2.2L will get you around better if you daily drive. I have an '02 that I put at least 40 miles on every day, 75% on the highway. One thing's for sure, the clutch does NOT like to engage at anything under 1000 RPM. I have been meaning to test drive an AP2 around here but I need to check with the dealerships to see if they have any.

Hey JDM Joe,

Check out the cars I've owned since I've started driving (Signature) and I think you and I have alot in common in terms of preferences. I too was looking at the STI, EVO, and 350z and even some 911's and a few Boxsters...guess what I ended up purchasing?

My 2007 S.

Go and get one as you and I love smaller cars and you won't regret it. Mine is a daily driver and I can't think of a more killer car to drive. Seriously and I just did my first track day last week and I'm so freakin happy to own a race car in disguise.

S2000 is my garage queen. Any questions?
If I own those cars I would garage the s2k too because its the most likely to get stolen/vandalized.

Oh if the OP wants something to stand apart, don't get any of the cars you mentioned. All of those are common, get a MR2 spyder and mod that. How many MR2 Spyder's do you see in a day that is modded?
