Thumbs up

I recently purchased a 2001 s2000 and was looking for some help. Does anyone know weather the rear windshield is plastic or vinyl? If there is any advice on how to care for it and the top I would be greatfull. I was also wondering how well and necessary are these glass care kits with wash/ repair/ etc.. any recommendations and thoughts. Thanks. Chase

00-01 are plastic. Check out Mike's Window Clinic for some detailing tips specific to the plastic window. There's also a Wash and Wax section on this board. A lot of people use Ragg Top and 303 on their vinyl tops.

Hope that helps!

Hello all,

I'm on my 3rd day of s2k ownership heaven. Purchased a 2003 Silverstone/red. Still bone stock. I have to get used to the shifting still... much more aggressive than my '04 accord v-6.

I live in Montrose, work out in Glendale for Evryx Technologies as a software engineer.

See you guys around the forums... I'll need some help with random tips for car care.

BTW... it took me and my friend 10 minutes in gas station to find the fuel door. Is that some kind of record? I would have read the manual but they claimed they didn't have it for my car... I found it in convertible area 2 days later

Hi,just wanted to introduce myself. Finally got my GPW AP1.She's an '03 with only 21K miles on it(was owned by an elderly couple) and I seriously doubt they ever experienced the V-TEC magic.

I just bought a new 06--got it for $27,500 before tax/title!! I've wanted one since they came out in '00, and now I've graduated. I'm a mechanical/aeronautical engineer. I bought it before I got my first paycheck!

Hello,

I finally got my own S, and loving it! 05 with 11,150 miles for $21500, which was owned by an older man. Drove up north from Phoenix to Sedona and I am so glad I went ahead with the purchase.
