Congratz! Rio yellow is hot!
Also register your vin# to be an official owner.
You need to change your profile info to reflect your position in the S2K "brotherhood"! You are now an "owner" of a beautiful car.
BTW...I'm looking for one S2000 fender badge. If yours are permanently removed and you can part with one, PM me!

Thanks guys I appreciate a warmth welcome, I love the car. It's a combination roller coaster-go cart. Get ready, in the near future I will unveil it. I'm presently working on the body kit etc. I'll make an announcement, My car is going to be very original machine like all the others that I've owned in the past. I have serious plans for this one.
Don't forget to post pics fo your original machine.

Hi guys,
Just thought I'd say hello
can't believe how busy it is on here! Anyway I run SRB Power Ltd, a company in the UK with my partner Dan. http://www.srbpower.com Website is kind of half finished
We are the sole distributor in the UK and Europe for brands like Chargespeed, RPS, GP Sports and G-force suspension. While also being authorised dealers for Rays, BuddyClub, Tein, DBA, H&R, BLitz, HKS, Kaaz and many more.
Neither of us own an S2000 (although if I have my way
) we both own 200sx S14a's. One of our 200sx is just being rebuilt with lots and lots of trick bits
and has just hit 225RWHP - only run to 4000rpm @ 0.7bar boost. Thats running in, not even on boost and without the menthol injection
I signed up really to gain more knowledge about the s2000 and hopefully be able to give some back.
Anyway, cheers guys I've got lots of reading to do
and is there a section that shows the local meeting in the UK? Wouldn't minding going allong.
Cheers
Si

Hello everyone! Ive reading the forums quite a bit recently trying to educate myself on anything my brain would absorb. Im 19 and currently in my second year of college.
This is my current car that I put around in 2003 Ford Focus SVT:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...lang=&cardist=0
(Im not trying to advertise, just the only place I have pictures of my car on the net, If I am violating any forums rules I will edit it out)
Its not to bad but im looking to trade it in on a 2002 Sebring Silver S2K with 27,500 on the odometer. I have a few questions and i am just looking for peoples experiences with dealerships and some stories I guess
1) There asking price for the car is 21,800 which seems reasonable, and they are offering me more then I currently owe on my trade in which is nice. Price wise does this seem fair or should I keep looking around.
2) Does anyone have an open carfax that can run the Vin for me on the vehicle?
3) Should I ask to run a compression test on the vehicle if so what should the # in each cyl be around? Is there anything else I should watch out for with the car, I noticed when I drove it today it was a bit difficult to get into 6th and Reverse but I think it was because the car was so cold and I am not used to the shifter.
4) He mentioned an extended warranty which I am thinking about since I am in college it would save me a decent bit of heartache hopefully. I think the owner(I spoke to the owner of the lot) said it was from continental. It is a 7year/70k mile Bumper to Bumper with a 50 Dollar deductable for 1300. Anyone have any experiences or advice with 3rd party warranties.
