Sounds great! Welcome to the site, Late Braker, and consider a membership if you intend to hang around.

Best advice and info about mods is probably in the S2000 Talk forum and the under-the-hood forum. Best wishes to you, and enjoy your car. Drive the S for a while stock before you do any mods. IMO, the car is wonderfully set up just the way it is.

Thanx Chazmo. I respect what you're saying about drive it b4 getting crazy. You've already earned points in my book; smart. I've had some pretty serious cars b4 my s2k so don't worry, this car holds a special place in my heart.

I did a couple laps when we were testing, and I hated the rear-end feel. It's far too sensitive to change during mid-corner throttle adjustments. I'd like to hear some thoughts about caster/camber changes b4 I put the suspension, brakes, and wheels on....

Hello, just want to pop in and say to everyone. This is my first post and i have been reading and learning from this awesome forum for the last couple of weeks. Picking up a 06 silverstone next week but i would like to know if anyone here would choose a GPW over Silverstone? Looking forward to picking up my S2000! I currently live in Rancho Cucamonga and I will be moving to Arcadia next week so if there's any group meetings or hangout for s2000 owners, let me know. Thanks for all the great info! This site rules and i'll pass the word on about this site!

Hey guys, i couldn't wait until next week so i went to the honda dealer in irvine today and picked the car up. Its an 06 Silverstone red/blk int. I like the car and the people at that dealer but i did noticed a scrape on the front lip when i took it home. I checked the car and it was clean at the dealer before the purchase but after them detailing it to deliver the car, someone managed to park too close to the curve creating the scratch. I drove it from the lot straight to my house, got out to show the car to my brother and he pointed out the scrape! WTH! I called the dealer right away and they said for me to bring it in and they will take care of it but it sucks to know that you purchased a brand new car and having to go through this. Hopefully they will do a good job at repairing it.

Ugh, Sid... Is the car brand new?

Well, if it's just a scratch on the lip, it shouldn't be a biggie (and it won't be the last one. ).

Funny... The digital speedo hasn't helped me much with speed limits.

LMAO, even if they were blinking and fireworks were going off inside my car about my speed limit i dont think that would slow me down

Newbies... While we're discussing speed, I know we make light of it from time to time, but I always reiterate my warning: take it EASY out there as you get used to the S. Please.

Hi chazmo, thats the thing that upsets me. The car is brand new with only 33 miles on it. When i left to go pick up the car, the porter had it parked so close to the curb i had to walk to the side to see if it hit the curb and i noticed he didn't. Now i'm thinking he hit it then backed up. I got in the car drove home and thats when i saw it. I hope they will do a good job fixing it.

Sigh... Another wonderful dealer story. Well, I'm sure it'll be fine, Sid. If you're the slightest bit dissatisfied, don't take the car and withhold your money. It's just unacceptable that after 6 years these dealers still can't figure out how to prep and deliver (let alone service) these cars properly.
