No way you'll get kicked off for saying too much that's good about the S2000, Jon.

Welcome to the site, and congrats on your purchase!

Hey guys,

I became interested in s2ks after seeing a fellow member's ride, Hiper aka Anuj. Immediately I became hooked, and a few weeks later, I got the car. I just purchased a 2001 Spa Yellow/ Black certified s2k. I come from BMW. I had a 2001 330xi automatic, and currently have a 2002 325ci 5-speed. I decided to sell the 325ci to get the s2k.

It is a totally different driving experience from the bmw. Words cannot even begin to explain. I love the engine, the tranny, the handling, the whole package. Now I'm afraid I cannot ever drive another car.

Expect to see more of me around this forum!

-Dave

Dave, welcome aboard. Consider a s2ki.com membership if you're going to hang with us.

Congrats, and I/we know how you feel.

Hey all,

After months of searching for the "perfect" white s2k, i fell in love with a silverstone-black/red at a dealer on a sunny sunday in LA. Picked her up that night and havent regretted 1 of the 200 coastal miles or the sunburn

In the past two years, i've had a WRX, Evo VII, and R32, all in search for a car that "felt" like my 99 M Coupe: compact, tight, turns like hell, and is somewhat unique. the S fits that mold damn near perfecty with the added bonus of top down driving (in LA)!

I plan on hitting willow springs as soon as break her in and learn a bit about her dynamics. Any SoCal members active in that, please drop a line.

This forum and articles were key in guiding me towards the s2000 (the "why an S2000 is better than an Evo" article was hilarious). I appreciate all your posts and hope to contribuite what little i can.

thanks
