Hi people. I just bought my 2003 s2000 in black last weekend. I've always loved this car and finally had the opportunity to buy one at a good price. I owned a SR20DET 240sx and it was fast, but the s2000 is a whole different animal in handling.

Not really looking to mod this car, just like it how it is. Looking forward to a meet or something.

Hello from a new member from Montreal, Quebec. Purchased a 2000 Silverstone with 28,000 kilometers on the odometer (approx 18,000 miles) last week in Ottawa. The car is in great shape and the dealer has included new carpeting that is on order from Japan. It was a nice weather here so I got to drive with the top down all weekend. Had a blast even if our roads suck and the tires aren

If you have a pre-MY04 S2000, keep very close eye on oil usage, which is normally more than you may be used to.

Hi there, I'm Phil and I'm looking to buy an S2000 soon, so I thought I'd drop in here and introduce myself.

I saw a guy from here at JAE beside the drift ring (hello again!) who gave me a flyer, and kindly let me sit in his black 2K and explained a few things about the car.

I took a new one for a test drive yesterday, and in the sunny and warm weather it felt great with the top down. I am searching for a black paint with all red interior, almost certainly the post 2004 facelift model.

Its the only 2K I've driven, so how do the older cars (pre-2004) feel compared to the new ones, any sharper? I've read they are, but that's probably someone's personal opinion about the car, not a poll!

My other car is a 1990 CRX SiR (JDM import), which I have modified a lot of, but tastefully as the appearance is almost stock aside from being lowered and a set of Rota Circuit 10 royal black 15" wheels. I like my Hondas! The 3 Hondas I love the shape of are the CRX, NSX and S2000, but I decided the NSX was going to cost too much to run and also to modify, plus the S2000 is more my kind of car. All 3 look the best of their kind against any other manufacturers' offerings I think, completely timeless.

I'll post a bit more often when I get the ball rolling after my house move next month, when I'll start looking for an S2000 in the colour I want.. I'll probably have a long wait but as long as I have one before the summer I'll be happy!

 

Glad to join you. Recently fulfilled my dream of owning an S2K by buying a 2000 w/54K from an owner who did a few mods that make the car turn heads, literally, and I've added a few more:

Body was originally stock silver but it's been painted NSX Long Beach Pearl Blue (black interior). OEM front lip, carbon fiber hood. Espelir springs/suspension with body lowered 1.5 in. New rear window & Falken tires. Blacked-out headlights & '04 tailight conversion. Alpine CD/MP3 sound system with added amplifer in trunk. AutoMeter Cobalt oil pressure/voltage gauges on pillar pod. Exhaust still stock, but that will change...looking at Apex'i World Sport 2. Any other suggestions?

Engine runs like a top. Every trip is a joy. You know the feeling.

Jim, PLEASE check your oil at every fill up. The cars burn oil, and you have to watch it (it's normal).

 

Just joined been lurking for 6 months, but today had a lil fun with a s2k here in NY and wanted to post up. Just to see if he's on the boards, I enjoy the s2k forums and hopefully get to learn a bit more about them.
