Introduce yourself here! Part II
Hi s2ki!
I just recently bought a 2000 Formula Red S2000 with 97k miles and I have to say, I'm in love. Anyway, I've been lurking the forums for about a week and thought I'd say hello. The buyer's guide definitely helped me out a ton, so thank all of you for that!

Hello everyone!
After years of dreaming and saving I've finally gotten my hands on a 2002 black S2000 with 80k.
I got it from a Private owner which maintained the car very meticulously and had all papers from all 4 owners.
I've had it for two weeks and am completely in love!
So far these are some of the pros and cons I have discovered. (my opinion)
PROS:
-HANDLING... Pure complete control of everything. Mind you I have not lost grip yet and am not looking forward to it. (sits on 255/40 Nitto NT05)
-SHORT SHIFTS... I had an 05 X runner before this and the difference has left me speechless... that is all.
-ROCKET SHIP... Is what I feel like I'm driving.
-SAFETY... In regards to handling and agility.
-DESIGN... So many fluid accents around the body shape, not too much but just enough sharp lines. It looks like a shark to me. Washing it feels reeaallllyyy good...
-HONDA.
CONS:
-PARANOIA... I always have to be in sight of the car everywhere i go. If not i am constantly hitting the lock on the alarm.
-GAS... So far I have estimated about 12-16 mpg (car is not stock) But i must say the smell of burnt gas is phenomenal.
-HOT... I live in Florida with black on black so yeah...
-SELF CONTROL... I must... have self control... and not... hit past 6rpm... ~350whp is scary.
-OIL... Reminder to check yours as well.
That's it! Please feel free to ask questions or give any tips and hints.
The only thing I want to put into it is a Hardtop, Roll cage, and money for those tires once they go -_-
Looking forward to this relationship with my S2000 <3

Hi Everyone,
I just purchased a 1999 JDM AP1.
Since I was 12 I have wanted an S2000. Today at 23, I made my wish come true.
The car is in stock condition and has done about 98,000km.
I intend to keep it stock, except for adding a hard top (my difficult search for an OEM hardtop will be difficult and expensive, I know).
I'm glad to be part of the family here

Hi guys, I was really looking forward to be part of this community.
My name is Francesco, 27 yeras old and I am from Italy...and I am finally a very happy owner of a 2003 Silverstone AP1 with 85.000 km, just shy of 53.000 miles.
It is my only car, so it's basically a daily driver/weekend warrior all together.
There she is as I picked her up 6 months ago...

And there she is now...

Thanks for the inspiration you all give me, and for all the great passion there is on this forum.
Ciao!

Hi everybody! Greetings from Finland!
My name is Timo and I've been a proud S2000 owner for 8 months now. I have dreamed about S2000 for about 10 years and I finally got it last year. First I was going to buy completely original black S2000 (ap1 -00) with hard top, but the seller sold that car just when I was about to go to get it even though we had agreed that I'll buy it. At that point there was only one interesting S2000 on sale, good LHD S2000s are quite rare and expensive in Finland, that had performance modifications made but exterior and interior were original. After one nights serious thinking I bought that and haven't regret one second. I really like the interior of this 2002 version and of course the glass back window is much better and cool looking.
Ok, so here are some list of specs and changed parts.
-Silverstone grey with red interior, year model 2002, 130 000km
-18" BBS replica rims, front 225/40 and rear 255/35
-25mm H&R springs
-Toda 2.2 stroker kit, with 8700 redline
-Walbro 255 gas pump
-Hondata kpro S2000 ECU with all required changes
-K&N v2 CAI
-High flow cat
-Invidia Q300 cat back exhaust
-Mishimoto radiator
I don't know how much power this thing makes, but it is quite fast compared to my Type-R. I'm planning to take my car to dyno at some point.
Here is pic with both my cars, my daily driver is Honda Civic Type-R (fn2).
