Hi my names Paul and I'm an S2000 addict, I joined this group as I thought it could help me with my addiction
I've previously owned a blue S2000 (AP1) a few years back, it cost me the great sum of £4200 back then. It was a bit of a dog with the ripped rear window and a damaged roof but I replaced the roof with brand new one. Also had all the rust removed and the car undersealed. Unfortunatley not long after I had to sell it for £3200 due to moving home and the costs involved, regretted selling it ever since.
With saving up I finally bought another AP1 in the same colour and I've had her since Sept 2018. I didn't think I'd afford one again because of the prices going up so much.
As regards the new S2k it's having a few things done but will hopefully be a quicker project than the previous one.
Can anyone suggest a dual cat-back exhaust that will make the S2k sound more grumbly but not drone? from reading the posts the Skunk2 seems a nice option.
Also how do you guys rate the magnetic sump plugs off Ebay for £5?
Tanabe Medallion Touring. I went from an HKS hi Power to the Tanabe. A world of difference. You can youtube for sound clips. But I think its perfect.

Hello everyone. Long time s2000 owner in Myrtle Beach. I have a 2002 Berlina that I bought brand new!! Still love driving it. It’s has kinda taken a back seat to my other project cars. But as of lately I’m getting the s2000 itch again. Looking forward to starting some upgrades to it.
Bought it from a guy that also had a clean FB rx-7, and a manual Corolla wagon.
My main plans right now are preventative maintenance: oil banjo bolts, the TCT, all fluids. The interior is a little rough, Florida car all it's life and it definitely looks like it spent a lot of time outside and/or with the top down, so I need some new seats and a good detail as well. After that I'm thinking about maaaaaybe going turbo. It's definitely tempting. But I'm super happy with the car right now, and I hope to have it for quite a while. It's only my second car, after a piece of shit '91 240sx.
Read the forum in the past, but decided to join up today. I have a '03, stock except for a intake to improve the engine note a bit. Second owner. Bought it from a co-worker that treated it like his child. Needs a good cleaning/detailing. Looking to improve the rim situation this spring and perhaps a slight lowering. Also have a little red light engine idle stalling issue I have to figure out.
Raced a '93 Integra in Lemons/Chumpcar out of Columbus Ohie area for 10 yrs. Taking a break and decided to wrench on the S2K a bit.
Looking forward to enjoying the summer with the top down!
Hello the name is Kenny. I bought my 02 Suzuka blue s2k with 125k for my birthday back in September of last year and I love it. There's a few low end mods but nothing too major and nothing was done to the engine so it runs like stock one. Glad to finally be in the s2k community! Edit
