Default RWD Roadsters continuously for 54 years.

Hello fellow driving lovers!
Yes it is true, I have owned six two seaters continuously, sometimes singles other times two at the same time. ‘61 Triumph Spitfire, ‘69 AH Sprite, AH 3000 replica powered by Ford Motorsport drive train and Mustang suspension, ‘88 Mazda RX7 convertible, ‘93 Mazda RX7 Turbo, and finally my sweet 2002 AP1 Honda S 2000.
An interesting sidelight to all the fun and knowledge I have had is the amount of money I have spent on “my hobby”. Not including the maintenance, insurance and fuel, and only using the total purchase price of all six cars minus the total selling prices of same, I have spent the equivalent of (as an example) the expected 5 years depreciation of a 2017 Corvette ZO6. Approximately, $47,658.00.
Just MHO, but I would never trade the fun I had for twice that amount.
well enough crowing!! Unfortunately my health at 71 no longer allows my driving instincts to be trusted in higher performance cars. Thus I will soon be selling my 2002 S2000. 62xxx miles 10/10 VIN stickers, pristine Car-Fax, Well you get the picture. Till then Be well.

Hello,
I have bought a 2003 that was salvaged and merging a Sunbeam Tiger body on it with a Power Retractable Hardtop. All the work has been done by me, just about finished with the body work. I wanted to build something with all the modern features but look like a classic. So the wheels will be from a Mustang to be period correct.
Here is a link to the build.
Thanks

It's probably one of the greatest feeling knowing that you found one that's:
1) In your actual budget
2) Not beat to hell
3) Hasn't been sold yet
