Hi everyone, I'm new here... I purchased my first S2000 last year, a bone stock Spa Yellow AP1 with 29k miles, and have since replaced the steering wheel and shift knob (CR). I'm not planning on any other mods at this point... these cars are just about perfect from the factory!
I've been lurking the forums for the past 6 months and learned a ton reading as I was looking to get into an S2000. I had an opportunity to purchase a NA1 NSX but unfortunately things didn't work out. I also have a deposit on a new Civic Type R Limited Edition but due to the pandemic, delivery has been delayed quite a bit. There was a local example of an AP2 S2000 that was well known in my circle of friends and was clearly taken care of. Put a deposit on the car and will be picking it up soon! It's a 2004 Black on Black with a few tasteful modifications such as a Greddy Supreme SP exhaust, Espelir lowering springs, and S2000 spec TE37s.
A bit of background, I'm a huge Honda fan and have owned over 10 examples of Civics and Integras including EM1s, GSRs and my personal favorite was a EK hatch with a high compression built ITR engine tuned up to 10k redline. I'm in general into Japanese imports and have also owned a turbocharged Lexus IS300, full bolt-on and stance orientated Mazdaspeed3, and most recently a lightly modified Subaru Legacy GT wagon with a rare manual 5 speed transmission. After owning several boosted vehicles, I look forward to the simplicity and high revving nature of a Honda engine again!

Hi ,got an '03 AP1 silverstone with red/black interiors. super excited. needs some love as previous owner didnt maintain her properly. S2Ki is awesome !!! looking forward to some great threads.
New here and cannot be happier. Just purchased an 04 with 88k, one owner, all 10 vins, no accident history and always garage kept. Got a steal I feel like as the dealership misquoted the price. It's completely stock and I have started making it mines.

Hi people, my name's Leo. I am not yet an S2K owner but I've been eyeing this car for a while.
I've decided to sign up to this forum to get some context around S2K and to figure out what an S2K in good state is and what are the common gotchas when buying one (what year, condition, engine issues, etc).
I do most of the jobs myself on cars, so it'll be good to read in here mods/fixes/etc.
I currently own two Miatas so please don't give me too much s**t for that
