I do most of the jobs myself on cars, so it'll be good to read in here mods/fixes/etc.

I currently own two Miatas so please don't give me too much s**t for that

That's a loaded question. Some will say 2006+ because you can tap Flashpro and you get VSA. Others will strongly recommend AP1s (2003-) because of the raw nature of the 9K redline. To each, his own. For starters, read this for differences in years: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/introductions-21/

Then read this for what to watch for and what to do when you get one: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-ta...-s2000-775801/.

I went with a 2006 because I wanted an AP2, VSA and a newer edition.

Hello everyone

Names Dan and new to the forum, I am from NSW Australia. I will be taking delivery of my first S-2000 tomorrow so very excited/nervous. They are pretty rare here in my area so it took me a couple of years to find one in the colour and kms that I wanted, went back and forth with what I would get but decided on an AP1. Previously a Toyota Supra owner and currently own a Lancer ralliart 2015 the S2K will be a secondary / project car.

Looking forward to this journey and sharing it with all you.

Congrats! Two years ago today, I brought mine home. Wanted one since they came out in 1999, and searched for 2 years to find it just the right one. I have a smile every time I get in and push the red (start) button :-)

Enjoy it!

Thank you for the great info in the links you've posted. I went to see an S2K yesterday and decided to walk away based on the buying checklist.

Hello everyone. My name is Will and I just joined s2ki 2 days ago I just bought my first s2000 and awaiting shipment memorial day week.
It's an 2005 and unfortunately no flashpro but I can live with it. I think I am done with major mod since my last 08 Civic SI
The only thing I really wanted is to change the suspension. If it is going to be a daily drive, what would be the best suapension to get?
Thanks everyone in advance.
