New S2k owner checking in from the North (Toronto, Canada). She is an 08 LBP with ~43k miles. Looking forward to joining the community and meeting fellow S2k owners in the area (in a socially distanced manner of course)!
Just picked this 04 ap2 this week, 74k miles, the paint needs some love but I got it for 4k which seems like a steal!! Excited to be back in the car game because I got rid of all my fast toys years back after having kids and once this deal got offered to me I didn't think I could pass it up!
Hi All.
Bought this little gem. Looking forward to reading all your stories.
She's a bit tired. Alarm wonky, play in drive train, a bit whiny. 60k miles only. One corner binding. But she's otherwise sweet for 1999. I love it.
I used to have the means and time to work on my cars all the way back to my 4th gen lude, but alas no longer.
So guys, I'm looking an early favour as a new member and forgive me if this is stickied somewhere. I need a good indy in the london nw area that I can trust please.
I'll have a dig around the site of course.
Catch ya later
Yesterday I convinced my neighbor to sell me his 150k mile 2001 that got backed into and pushed into another vehicle.
He included a new(used, with atrocious roll job) fender but looks like I'll be needing a bunch more stuff. It's rough and will probably be staying that way.
Hi, I'm Mike from NC. I just purchased a '05 one owner all-stock S2K, my first. I am currently driving a Jaguar F-Type as a DD and before that a Lotus Elise. Initial impressions are really good, and my first trip was 12 hours back from where I bought it, mostly in the rain. I would love to meet more owners in NC (Raleigh) area, and thanks for all the great resources on S2ki.com. I have a punch list of a few cosmetic repairs, but I'm really happy with the condition of the drive train and what a driver's car this is.
