Hello, Ross here. I just purchased an '00 with 71k on the clock from a friend. He was the second owner. The first owner was an older (than me, I'm an old fart too ) and apparently took good care of the car. As far as I can tell, the car is completely stock, except for a K&N intake/filter and non-OEM passenger fender. My friend was sideswiped in a traffic circle and had the shop replace the fender instead of using filler. I plan to keep the car stock, maybe even installing a stock airbox if I can find one. Here are a couple of (crappy) pictures of the car just after I purchased it. It's in desperate need of a detail. I'm also the proud owner of a highly modified but stock looking '72 240z. The '72 was my third S30. Anyway, been a gearhead since I was young kid.
Hello all, I’m new to the forum. I purchased an 03 with a blown motor today and I’m hoping I can get lots of help from this forum. It’s going to be hard to believe this story, but you might find it interesting. The car has been in storage since 2008 when the engine blew. It has just a little under 32,000 mi but does need some tlc. I’ve read on this forum that rebuilding this motor can be tough and may not perform as well afterward. I’m not 100% on what my goal is, but I paid very little for this car so I’d like to ask all of you what you would do if you had $10,000 to spend on this car.
