I had a very low mileage s2k and the dealer under tightened the spark plug and it backed out. I'm in the same boat as you but there's a local guy coming out tomorrow who may be able to help fix any damage. Where are you located?

 

That is rough news. You'd think mechanics would be extra careful with such a nice piece of mechanically wizardry in the engine bay of an S2K. I hope it works for as best it can. I just got my S2K a couple of weeks ago and had the dealer do a PPI on the car, but I don't know if they checked the spark plugs (the car only has 17K on the odo so they may not have). Good luck!

 

My car was also "inspected" by several mechanics and dealers. .. Go with only someone who you can trust. On a bright side, my problem is 100% fixed now that I've found my mechanic. If you guys need any major work done, PM jordanksartell. His expertise is f20 / f22 engine builds and he knows the car inside and out. Billman spoke highly of him and referred me to him. I will do a write up soon in the under the hood subsection and post my experience.
