Default Just Bought Mine Yesterday :D

I just purchased my 07 Silver S2k with 60k miles yesterday! I came from an automatic 98 Prelude with some manual transmission experience but I still have a little ways to go until I'm 100%. My first purchase I want for a car is a new shifter that is heavier since I'm having to force the shift at times and I heard a heavier one will make it alot easier on me. If people feel that the stock will do if I just get use to it, I'm all ears. I'll have some pictures up when I get a chance but right now, I just want to drive the car. Please give me any wisdom that you veterans have knowledge on from handling the car to keeping it perfect. I have searched through the forums a bit but it's sometimes hard to find what I am looking for so if you have tips on this as well, I'd greatly appreciate it.EXCITED

Welcome! I would try re-greasing the shifter and changing transmission fluid before going to buy a new one. and if you dont know when the last time the differential and motor oil has been changed i would go ahead and do those also. Should make the car run nice. enjoy! post some pics!

We never achieve 100%. Just keep working to get better.

Congrats on the car, and welcome!

Thanks for the tips...anyone have a mechanic's manual for the car? I'm decently handy and will probably do this myself depending on the feedback of you guys on the difficulty level of these tasks. At work and just itching to drive it again.
