Nearly Time
Hi all i pick my first s2000 up in 3 hrs and i dont think ive ever been soo excited lol been waiting for this day since i first set eyes on one when i was 17. Now 23 and finally insurance has dropped into the realms of possibility lol. Been reading alot about these fantastic cars but the first drive in one was the test drive! never hit the vtec though. Is it really as good as people say?!?! guess i will soon find out!
Is there anything i should be aware of as a new owner?
Names john by the way and i live near middlesbrough. Last owner was a member of the official club judging by the sticker in the back window!
Reg is BC53 VUP

Being a new owner (and not being sure what you previous cars were), go easy in the turns. Engaging VTEC, hard braking, lifting off the throttle, etc, while turning sharply can unsettle the back-end. Enjoy it and learn how it responds to different driving inputs before going nuts in it. It's a very confidence inspiring car, but your ability as a driver will probably run out before the car's does.
And VTEC is pretty nice. Get into the habit of checking your oil level when you fill-up on fuel.
Enjoy
