New AP2 Owner in Long Beach, MS
Hello S2KI!
Ive been a lurking member for about 2 years now and finally got my hands on an AP2! I recently moved from Caldwell, ID to Long Beach, MS. While in Idaho I sold my 1990 Integra autox'r so naturally it was time to start another project. I've had my eye on the S2k market for awhile but was never able to pull the trigger on one. Once I moved down south I finally came across what I wanted. After searching for about a month a Silver AP2 popped up for sale in Pensacola, FL and I jumped on it. Its a 2005 with 87k miles. Only modification is the head unit. New battery and soft top installed within the last 6 months. Included all original paperwork and all maintenance records from Honda. Diff and trans fluid done 20k miles ago.
At this point, there are some minor dings and leather cracks that need addressed (fortunately I have friends in both of those businesses!). The rear tires are shot. Motor mounts feel like they may need to be replace in the near future and the TCT is on that list as well..... although Im going to see if changing to a different oil will fix what little noise I think I hear from the TCT.
In the end, I was very pleased to take it off his hands for only $13,500

At this point my plans are to address any issues or concerns now and go from there. Rear tires are definitely on the list, as well as motor mounts and an intake. The current factory intake is pretty dirty so I figure I might as well upgrade that.... I love the sound of an intake with stock exhaust!
