Wow. All I have to say is WOW. Not only was it bad ass, this guys S2k was BAD ASS. 4.77 gear ratios are no joke. That thing ripped through all RPM. I'm probably going to hate how the stock S2k will feel below 6k RPM now. If I end up with a stock one that is. I'm trying to get this one.. it's asking for a pretty high price, but the mods invested into it make it so worth it. Most people don't see that..but I do.. I just KellyBluebooked my tC at $18.6k and the guy is asking 21 so that will work out fine. Hope I can get at least 17.5k asap.

Yes, exactly what my mom said. Though, I have nothing to haul around (I don't have kids), i plan to get hard top, I hate driving people...and yeah it may be more expensive, but I bought the tC because I thought it was more than what it is, performance wise. I thought I could have a cheap car with many mods invested..Which I can..but It just doesn't offer what the S2000 does to me in my eyes. If I trade in my tC now I can just take on payments for the S2k and they'd only be a few more dollars than what I paid for my tC monthly. Just an extra 60 months. --anyway..it's worth it to me.

and yes..i agree way faster.
i feel for you if your parents dont let you get an s2k. im not aloud to get what i want which is an evo or sti. so im settling with the s2k =). good settlement i thought lol. and im 17

I recently made the move from a scion (I had an xA) to the S2K. I've wanted one since they first came out, and I finally had the opportunity to get one. One of the best trades I have ever made.

Welcome aboard.

How'd you do that bcs? I'm contemplating this hard. The one i drove is kbb'd at about $17k and my tC is about $18.6k value wise. But the mods he has invested into it..I feel why he wants to sell it at 21k. If the mods I like add up to the difference I'll strive hard for this one. Otherwise..it's just not time. I'm pretty sure the mods I like add up to at least $3k more than the $4k difference, though.

Scrace..wtf! ur parents wont let you get an STI or evo..but an S2k? i dont understand. Insurance will be the same or even worse. Convertible sports car..rwd 200+ hp..vs.. 300 hp awd cars. Man, you can get S2k's to be evo eaters easy too. You lucky SOB!

Dont feel like you have to pay for what he spent in mods. If you were to trade a car in or sell it to a "normal" buyer the mods will either do nothing or actually hurt resale value. I bought a modded car once before and paid about $500 over KBB for $1000+ in mods. A car is really only worth what someone will pay for it.
