Hi Everyone.
just purchased a 2001 S2000, collecting it on friday.
i've always fancied one and needed something to drive around as my daily driver (a3 tdi) bores me to death. with the current market as it is i was able to get a good deal.
my other car is a focus RS which is pushing out around the 360 mark but i've sorned it to add some more mods and bigger brakes etc. it's no longer practical to drive it every day.
i want to add some sensible mods (that's how it starts i know!) and was looking for some advice, i see manifolds on ebay at very low prices. i'm not sure of the quality or of the reputation of the parts as i've always been a ford man...
i'm looking.. manifold, decat and system.
induction, what works best? also how does it respond to chipping?
anything else which provides good gains for reasonable investment?
what sort of gains can i expect?
thanks for your advice in advance. i look forward to joining the community

Depends on what you want to use your car for. On a stock block with a thicker headgasket you can boost 20+lbs on a good tune making well over 500whp and have it last. If you want to go all-motor you would be best to get gears and some bolt ons (exhaust, TP, intake) There are high quality parts then there are decent parts. It all depends on your budget!!
Technically there is no such thing as a "CHIP" You would have to get a VAFC, Greddy E-Manage, Or AEM EMS for a "TUNE" Just go with a good intake and exhaust system. Maybe some gears if you want more pep. Check out the "All Motor" Threads to give you a better idea
