Tires.... well I wish I had spent more time on the forums and read about the unique sizing of the rear tires.

Hopefully it doesn't end up being regrettable but I bought stock sized Goodyear F1 GS-D3s. I'm counting on the GS-D3 tire to compensate for the 1" less tread width.
Anyone out there going down this path too?

It was the wet handling that sold me on the tire.... I really didn't like my experience with the SO2s. Of course I haven't had a chance to try them out in the rain. But that's OK.

stock sizes

fronts 205/55-16

rear 225/50-16

I have no regrets yet. I posted my tire choice question on the wheels and tires forum for some feed back. So far nothing to negetive.

Just one of those "after-you've-spent-the-money oh oh" feelings. I'll have to spend more time on the forums. There's a lot of knowledge posted here.

cheers

It's likely true that you're slightly under-width at the rear now because of how Bridgestone sized the OEM S-02 tires. However, the new Eagles are pretty grippy according to the trade rags. I think you'll be fine.

And, hell yeah, I certainly won't talk you out of spending time here and learning more.
