What are the differences between the model years for the S2000? Whats changed over the years?

Hi, welcome to S2Ki

The answer to your question is in a sticky and can be found by using the search function.

That said, here is a quicky (not complete):

00-01 (AP1) - 2.0 liter motor, 9k rpm limit, plastic rear window
02-03 (AP1) same as 00 but add glass rear, upgraded sound system
04-05 (AP2) - 2.2 liter motor, 8.5k rpm limit but more torque, new bumpers/lights, new interior pieces, new wheels, upgraded synchros in tranny and new ratios to better work with new motor
06 (AP2) - same as 04 but add drive by wire, traction control, different wheels, interior changed slightly, revised unibody, different engine managment, new seats

00-03 (ap1) alos has more of a raw feel as compared to the 04+ (ap2)

In addition to the above;

MY02 and MY04 cars have revised spring rates.

MY04 and later cars have revised spring and shock rates and somewhat different rear suspension geometry.
