New S2000 Daily!
Hi! I just purchased a 2005 S2000 from my cousins wife with 131,000 miles on it! ALL STOCK!
Because it is a higher milage s2000 I have decided to make it my daily driver because I thoroughly missed driving a manual car on the road!
I was planning on driving my mr2 Spyder but the car is too small for me to be comfortable on California highways so that car has become reserved for the track and occasional canyon trips.
I still plan on driving the s2000 spiritedly so any advice on how to maintain and extend the life of the car would be greatly appreciated!
As of now I am thoroughly excited to get to know the community more and plan on learning as much about the s2000 as I can.
I am thoroughly impressed with how balanced and composed the car feels and how neutral it feels around corners. As for now I will not be heavily modding the car since I plan to keep it on the road for as long as I possibly can enjoy it for. Also with how the car feels now, I don't want to make any drastic changes that will ruin the pleasures that this car brings me through the bends.
If you come upon my thread and have any advice to things that could be done in order to preserve or upgrade minor things on the s2000 please leave me a comment! I would love to discuss our cars with community members!
