Hey everyone, I just bought an 03 red s2k with 42k miles
I live in phoenix, and I'm 22.
I also have a rwd build wrx but thats another story

very happy with it so far, great daily for my not so comfy anymore wrx.

couple quick questions,
if im missing my hose going from the air filter down through the airbox, will it harm anything or diminish performance? I looked today to find a no name paper air filter installed with no tube on it. Im getting a k+n drop in cone filter which i believe has a place for this hose right?

2nd gear seems like the synchro dosn't like to grab to quickly, at 9k it seems to grind unless I'm careful and slow. Maybe switch to honta MTF?

Welcome to the site

I would definitely get a hose on the intake asap. It wont hurt anything, but are you throwing a CEL without it (you should be)? All those vacuum lines are very important to the car and intake system.

As for trans oil, I would suggest this...

Thanks. I don't have a cel. Its just the short small hose from the filter element to the bottom of the air box. (Just making sure were on the same page). Thanks again
