Hey Guys, I am currently in the markget for an s2k. I am leaning towards an 03 models. I will need to do some more research on what to get. I've heard that early models has some issue (tranny). Hopefully I will be able to get all my informations from s2ki.com and the help of you s2k owners.

I currently own a 2000 Civic HB w/ B20b (non-vtec)

 

MY03 are popular for several reasons. They still retain much of the raw feel but have some upgraded items (glass rear window, reworked interior, etc). MY04 marked a more major change, some minor reworks on the exterior, some variations to the engine and suspension, etc. Search around here, as there is a ton of info highlighting not only primary differences from year to year but also specific problem areas. Also, try to plug into the local forum, very helpful. Finally, take a few out for a spin, paricuarly MY00-03 and MY04+ and see which one feels better to you. Good luck.

I havent test drove the AP1, becuase i was not able to find any in my area, but i am seriously going for the AP2. Hopefully I will be a S2K owner by the end of this week

 

You'll be very happy with the AP2. I traded my AP1(03) in for an AP2(06), and I am very happy with that decision.
