Default Picking up my first S

Found a MY 2000 s2000 locally. Silver with black interior, 84,000 miles. Picking it up for $8900. Sound like a good deal?

Only thing the car "needs" is a new top, but i plan on always being top down so im not worried about that. Other that the car is clean for a 10 year old car, few little nicks in the front bumper and one little dent right over the front right wheel but no major dents or scratches. Interior is pretty good for car of the its age, no rips or tears. Drivers side seat is showing wear, which is normal for the S from what i have seen.

I was originally planning on financing a newer car, but then i figured i could buy an older one and use the money that im saving to mod the car to my likings, instead of writing a check to the bank every month. The perfomance difference between the ap1 and ap2 don't mean anything to me. I am just using the car to cruise around the streets for now.

Found it on craigslist.

I have some crappy craigslist pictures, but they aren't worth posting up. Im gonna bring the car home on tuesday and give it a good detail and wax and then get some pictures.

Congrats. You should be able to find someone on here that removed their soft top. The install isn't to bad, it just is time intensive.
