Agreed, actually I might take the hardtop off only a couple times per season. There's nothing like having a properly fitted hardtop installed. No windnoise, no rattles, just the sound of the engine.
My S just passed it's last emissions test, just safety's from now on!
Also finally installed my Eibach FSB so now have 416F/427R lb/in, which settles the rear a bit more, but now really looking forward to Ohlins.
Anyway, also picked up those Zoom blue convex mirrors off of Kyle to match my Zoom Monaco. Don't mind my dumb face.
Also have some 08 door panels I will be Frankenstein with my 01 panels next week. I don't have tweeters or want to wire them in in the 01, so will be using the upper, mid from 01 and the lower 08 section for the door pockets. And finally gave in and ordered some Honda Access floor mats to replace the custom extended I have.
I will look forward to your comparison between the stock suspension set up and the Ohlins. It would be great to see a little documentation from you re the installation process.
They are excellent floor mats. Great coverage, good looking and rugged. Not cheap.
Probably off topic - but - I am trying to decide whether to install the ap2 headlights I have. My car is ap1. I've always preferred the look of the ap2 lights. I might do it one of these days. You can always go back to ap1. I don't think its a difficult swap. My ap2 lights are complete with ballasts etc. and so I think its just a plug and play type of deal. Where are you guys re ap1 v. ap2 headlights?

I will definitely take lots of pictures and document the process. @Kyle my s2000 soul mate is running them. So I have high confidence in the outcome as we both see eye to eye on alot of what makes the S better.

I'll take some pics of the install, as I know I'll have to cut the carpet some

I think the S looks good either way, I probably wouldn't do the tail lights, but that is not what you mentioned. Headlights are plug and play. My personal tastes I prefer the amber corners like the 90-00 era. But we all have different tastes. The ap2 headlights look great. I just prefer ap1. The install itself probably would take an hour or two and not be any issue to do! If you love them go for it!
Nice. Here is a question. My sparkplug cover shows a little bit of discoloration on the bright aluminum letters. Is there a suggested way to refresh that? The black parts are fine.

@rpg51
I used 400 grit on a sanding block, and sanded in one direction to keep the brushed part "brushed". You can put tape in a square around the letters to not accidentally Nick the black.
