Hello, new member here.

Within the next year, I may have the oppurtunity in getting a prestine Black with Red Interior 01 S2000. It would be from a neighbor friend of mine, the question I have for you is this, It will probally have about 35000 miles on it, what do that year usually go for? It will also have the hardtop conversion. He is asking about 20k for it... Any suggestions?

The HT is a big plus. 35K miles is good but not exceptional. I think 20K is still a bit high, though, on the other hand if you know the car's history and your neighbor has taken care of it well, that peace of mind is certainly worth a bit of money.

It sort of depends on where you're located to. If there are lots of Ss for sale, then there's a market to look at. Otherwise, you're just going to have to arrive at a price you're both comfortable with.

 

Overhere we have a saying "A good neighbour is better then a far away friend"

We also have (translated a bit) "If you are too helpfull even your neighbour will take advantage of you"

35k miles is pretty good for an 01, with the hardtop ($3000 accessory)..i'd say $17-18,000 is a good price for it,
