S2000 for 6 months!
I purchased my S2000 last year and I love this car!
I used to have a 1999 Honda Prelude, then a 2005 RSX-S, and now this 2001 Silverstone S2000!!! Pure Honda lover.
The S2000 is definitely a racing maching right out the factory. It has superior suspension, 50/50 weight all around, easy to toss around, rwd, and the 9000rpm is one of a kind. This car was made for great drivers like myself!!!!
Also wanted to add that my wife loves the car and so do a lot of random people when we go for rides in it!
Just wanted to say hello.

The 2005 RSX-S that I had was a beautiful car and it was great right out the box. Excellent leather seats, rims, good power too. The power to weight was good from a stop too. It pulled very nice from a dig. The tires were probably the weakest point since I was able to chirp 1st and 2nd easily.
Comparing the S2000 to the RSX-S is night and day. When I finally test drove the S2000 is was too sexy! The S2000 beats the RSX-S in the following:
1) S2000 seats are way better than the RSX-S
2) Stock suspension is much better in the S2000. S2000 is lowered, and can handle cornering much much better.
3) The 9000rpm redline in the S2 is more thrilling
4) The S2000 pulls harder when accelerating from a roll or like 60-100+
5) Everyone looks at the S2000 when it's out on the street. I get waves, hello's, nice car comments, etc.
6) Short shifting is better in S2000
7) Lightweight S2 and 50/50 weight distribution can be felt all the time. RSX-S feels heavier.
The S2000 is a different machine than the RSX-S. The S2000 is a true sports car, RWD and an experience driver like myself can say that this car is ready for anything on the road. It's one of the most fun cars anyone will ever drive in the $30-33K price range, 100%. Honda definitely put a lot of their racing technology in the S2000. We are lucky to have this race track car & convertible sold to the public. It will be a classic.
