It's tough to say if 35k OTD is a good deal or not since we don't know the tax rate. With that said, $31.5K +/- $200 is a pretty good/fair deal for a new '06 to me.

8.25%? Sounds like LA. I wonder what cities have a higher sales tax percentage. Too bad Delaware is soooo freaking far. It could save anyone boatloads of cash.

The salesman didn't seem like he could get the price down any further when I was with him yesterday.

Personally, I think $32k is a fair price for a car with an MSRP of $2k more, and we do live in Los Angeles, out of all places.

We're going back on wednesday to see if we can work things out.

The salesman showed us the invoice price of the car, which was like $31,xxx.

He says that if he goes any lower than $32k, he's not going to make any money at all.
