To all of you, your first priority is to find a good car -- then worry about price. Most S's have been driven hard - some have been abused. Look out for things like spin cuts on the rear tires that indicate a lot of clutch drop launches. Once you find a good car, make your best deal, and then start having FUN!

Is 23,900 before TTL too expensive for a 04 with 20k, has hardtop, front lip, side strakes, and rear wing. Tax is at 6%. I tried to do 23,900 OTD but don't think there biting.

I think that's a good price for that car with HT. Not a big fan, personally, of the lip and strakes.

guys would any of you know how much would an 05 S2000 cost here in the Philippines? In one magazine i just bought recently they featured an 01 S2000 which it now costs P850K (used) and brand new for the same model would cost about P2,850,000. was wondering if an 05 model would be more expensive (used)?

WOW, the Peso > Dollar exchange rate has been going down since the start of September? Why should I not be surprised? Anyway, P850k translates to roughly $17100, which almost matches the value found here for an '01. Considering a used '05 goes for around $24k-$28k, that equates to around P1.19 million to P1.39 million.

Brand new price is P2.85 million? That's about $57300!

No problem. Actually it's guardiase, though it's kinda hard to tell when it's being underlined. I'm still confused as to why the price for one brand new is so high, yet the used price seems on par?

yeah, the 01 S2000 dropped really big here. it dropped like 2M.

would you know how much an 02 S2000 would be there in the US? still deciding weather to get the 01 or 02 S2000. I have a friend who owns an 02 and i think he bought it roughly around P1.5M.

For anyone curious about 2007 pricing, I just bought a 2007 Rio Yellow Pearl on 10/31/06 from Tempe Honda in AZ for:

30,900 (including destination) + TTL

I thought the price was good, but I can't say the same for salesman or dealership. That's a whole different story...
