S2000 Vs. Other 2 seater coupes?
No one added the Boxster S, a 2001 goes for the same price as an AP2 2005. and it's certified pre-owned porsche... 996 brakes, 250/225 or something like that.
just drove one yesterday and now i am debating... but 2001 vs 2005....
no lsd, no traction.
torque is real nice on these things. compared to s2 anyways...

thats what i'm sayin
plus i think i'd get a bit more of a rep status if i'm cruising around in a porsche
and the others. Supra, 350z/G35, Skyline (maybe an already R32 would be in the range), BMW (M3 or Z roadsters) would be a little out of my range for tuning
I had came across a salvage titled 350z that had like, 12k put into it for like 25, but you never really know whats been done to those type of cars, might of been good for a track car or somethin
i hadn't thought of an Older Z coupe. But they're a little too small i think. And getting a corvette would mean getting myself in over my head with payments or anything
the 350z has 300hp. don't f.. around!i just dont find it pretty... but i have not testdrvien one yet... it is the same price as a 2004 s2000 and a 2001 boxster.
the boxster s is amazing. stronger than the S2, steering feel is great. shifter is not comparable to S2, but torque makes up the difference.
go testdrive one. You can get them Certified Pre Owned with warranty still for like 22 for a 2002. i mean, it's not cheap, but you get a Porsche, you get warranty, you get access to the Porsche club of America and all their track events (i've been to 3 of them with my (dad's) 997 on the Tremblant race track, which is super exclusive to ferrari owners. but at least i got a chance to go on it 3 times with the 997. )
the only thing, is that my friend's Boxster has a lot of issues for some reason. CELs and whatnot. had to change MAF twice, TB once (1200$ bu covered under war.), so if u don't have this War., forget about it...
this is the only thing turning me off... i don't think i have the $ to maintain it like i would want too.
So s2000 might be perfect for me in the meantime.
