It looks like I am picking up mine tomorrow! Ive spent a good bit of time looking into the car and a few others I considered. Then I drove one, and pretty much stopped looking into the others.
The tough part is my budget, I just bought a house, so I didnt want to spend over 25k. There doesnt seem to be a whole lot of these available used, and the depreciation is almost nonexistant from all the used ones I saw.
I finally broke down today after haggling over the phone with a dealer 70 miles away in NH. I feel Im getting a good deal on a used 2001 with only 8800 miles on it for right about my target price.
Im keeping my 4x4 pickup for the winters and moving anything bigger than a gallon of milk from the store. Hey, the house has a 2 car garage, it would be wrong to not fill both bays.

PS, I think Im doomed seeing the car is red (my 1st choice), Im sure the cops will see me coming... I think my 1st investment is a radar detector.

Tahnks for all the great info here.

Good Choice!

I'm from the UK and got an S2 a few months ago, I've done about 5000 miles in it and it just gets better.

Past hot hatches include: VW V6 4motion and Audi S3, not a patch on the Honda for driving pleasure, it puts a smile on my face everyday.
