Should I Buy An S2000?
Chazmo, yeah it was. I still love muscle cars, almost bought a 1969 Camaro Pace Car if it wasn't for the price. Just don't like the backwoods, narrow-minded mentality that usually goes along with the people who own still pray to them.
Before I bought my first Honda, I had a 1968 Eldorado with 400 hp 501 transplant from a 1970. Torque galore and cool as hell to completely smoke off a pair of tires on a front wheel drive car!

Hello all, well i recently picked up a 2003 S2000 after driving it and the 350Z, i found it to be a true sports car in every sense rather being a compromise sports car like the 350Z. I managed to pick it up at invoice 29,327 with only 15 miles on it. It was one hell of a deal as these cars arent selling as well as they once used too. So for others out there looking at this car, this is the time to buy, especially with the interest rates.
Ive been driving a 430hp/410tq Mustang for 10 years with a highly modified suspension and i felt right at home with a rear wheel drive but couldnt believe the night and day difference between a live axle rear and double a arm. this is an incredibly well handling car especially compared to what ive been used to driving. For the money, you get one hell of a suspension. I think for those of you whom prioritize handling, this should be at the top of your list..
Obvously the lack of aftermarket parts available for this car should make you realize how well engineered it is. I am curious for those of you whom own a Strut tower brace or underside x brace, if they make any difference as this car seems to be well braced from the factory?
Happy motoring, cal

If you live in snowy climes where you don't want to drive your S in winter, you will die an agonizing death waiting for things to thaw!!!

Alright guys, I visited this forum about 3 months ago and I finally had a chance to test drive the S2k and boxster. Honestly, I liked the S a lot better. It felt much more fun to drive and more lively.. maybe the boxster S would've been a better comparison, but I can't afford that car so i didn't even try. Anyways, I am in the market to buy one in the next month so hopefully i will be making more posts on this board. Now to decide... what freakin' color to get?!? Where's the monte carlo blue!
