If you melt your clutch on a Porsche, they'll fix it.

I guess that's my point. 'nuff said.

That's as close as I'll ever get to testing Neb's 0 - 60, Wick -- while I'm still under warrantee. Maybe in a couple of years I'll get to explore this, but no way I'd try it now. Not with what I've read around this board.

i agree.... its just not a drag car, not as its designed..... I'm sure it can be MADE to drag, but that's quite an investment.......

topcat7111, try to race with a stock Boxster S manual on street or track, I am sure u will lose with your stock S2k! If you want to race with me, come down to LA and I will show you how fast a Boxster S is.

Try drag race with a stock Boxster S manual with your stock S2K, you will see the magazine data is not true! I had raced both cars for more than 1 year, probably a few people will have known both cars better than I do!!! Many data on the magazines may not be able to show you the truth!

I just want to share my personal experiences with you guys and hope you guys don't insist on a stock S2k can beat a stock Boxster S. That is!

I told you i have an S2k, i don't have to lie to you. I think your attitude in your last post was inappropriate.

Oh, here is the link of the movie clip of me driving my S2k in California Speedway, TOPCAT7111, i doubt you can drive your S2k like that!

My S2k in Cal Spdwy

One last thing I want to add about the engine response on S2k vs. Boxster S. The Boxster S does rev up faster than the S2k, the Boxster S feels heavier and rev up slower because of its 18" wheels. The Boxster S engine rev up really fast when the rpm passed 5K (the second stage Variocam plus kicks in, for those of you who don't know, Variocam plus is the Porsche speak of VTEC), i am sure it rev up faster than the F20C from 7K to 9K rpm. You guys have to see it to believe it. By the way, the Boxster S & 996 C2 top out at 73mph in 2nd gear, how fast can the S2k does in 2nd gear??? I just want to tell u the S2k has a closer gear ratio in the first 3 gears and that's why it sprint to 60mph faster, but Porsche does not close up the gears for 0-60 run, a fast sports car means well-around performance, not just sprint fast to 60mph or 1/4 mile.

Again, S2k is the best when a Boxster S is not around!
