But you HAVE to tell your opponent which is front and which is back on your Boxster. It's really no fair when you line up for a race and you take off "backwards", then go tell everyone you won. This is especially true if you race at night and you have the headlites off to evade the cops.

topcat7111, try to race with a stock Boxster S manual on street or track, I am sure u will lose with your stock S2k! If you want to race with me, come down to LA and I will show you how fast a Boxster S is.

Try drag race with a stock Boxster S manual with your stock S2K, you will see the magazine data is not true! I had raced both cars for more than 1 year, probably a few people will have known both cars better than I do!!! Many data on the magazines may not be able to show you the truth!

I just want to share my personal experiences with you guys and hope you guys don't insist on a stock S2k can beat a stock Boxster S. That is!

I told you i have an S2k, i don't have to lie to you. I think your attitude in your last post was inappropriate.

Oh, here is the link of the movie clip of me driving my S2k in California Speedway, TOPCAT7111, i doubt you can drive your S2k like that!

my friend was driving his BMW 540i Sport Pkg, 6 spd with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup R compount tires. My S2k was bone stock, on Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires, 205/225.

The S2k rear end is a little loose and when you floor the gas on the apex, the car will be oversteered and you need to control your gas & steering input to correct the line or you will spin! If you did it right, your car can either drift or power out the corner (like what i did in the movie clip). Notice the speed on my S2k exiting the corner without slowing down.

$60,000.00??!! (Hold it! A quick conversion ...................... that's $90,000.00 Canadian!) YOU GOT TO BE JOKING! A ZO6, I can get for around $75,000.00. For 90 LARGE, a stock S2000 should be looking at the Boxster's tail lights from a looooong ways back BUT IT WON'T. Sorry, KEEP THE BOXSTER! It ain't worth that kind of money just to have it say "PORSCHE" on the back. I don't care how many gay interior decorators you got on the payroll.

Topcat7111, you better upgrade your monitor to a high resolution LCD, if you already have one, please have your vision checked again, you might need new glasses.....

If i have stepped on the brake, my S2k was already spun. You probably do not know how to drive.... you said, I almost spin out!!! I am telling you if you can do this on your S2k, you are not a bad driver. Or you just spend your $32000 to pick up more high school girls!! Real nice looking chicks will prefer European sports car over any Honda or Corvette!

You guys are stubborn, I just want to share my experiences with you guys here and all I said was the truth, you think your C5 can kick my Porsche's ass? You better think again, my '02 996 C2 was side by side with a Corvette C06 at 168mph on the bend-turn in california speedway.

By the way, the market price for an S2k now is about $30K (after discount but before tax) while the Boxster S with similar equipment is about $50K, go visit your local Porsche dealer and you will find out you can get the Boxster S at $5K to $6k off. For $25k is a lot of money, but if you need your S2k run as fast as the Boxster S on the track, your upgraded S2k will be at $45K ($15k of mugen/spoon goodies) and you are about $5k less than the Boxster S, but you still not able to get the benchmark handling & steering response of a Porsche!

Be realistic, if a Corvette could beat the Porsche, you will see the C5R winning the SpeedTV GT champ, not Porsche GT3R!

I can say the truth will not be appreciated by many. S2k is not really that fast, a ITR (Integra Type R DC2) can match or even beat the S2k laptimes. The extra money you paid for your S is just the rear wheel drive configuration and the top down capability.
