Default so I found a replacement for my stolen del sol.

So I picked up a 2000 sebring silver s2000. black and red interior.
It has 74xxx miles.
It needs some tlc but i hope to fix it slowly.
Firsts thing to do is:
Alarm
seat locks
fluids change.
The car already has a glass top without defroster so I'm guessing it's not a oem one.
It appears as it has been heavily modified in it's past and was returned to stock for a quick sale.
Some of the things that were left : front strut tower brace, rear lower tie bar, after market clutch( it's a heavy pp and engages right away) and rims. I still haven't had to much time to look over the car as I'm working 3 different jobs.
Other things that I saw that were not oem. Has a CF dash trim kit, the glove box is red and from what I gather it should of been black. shift boot is not oem colors.
right now my major concerns are the trans and diff. It appears as I have a 3rd gear grind or its the clutch noise on decel. and it seems that it may have a higher gear installed. the cluster is off about 8-10 m/h. and also there is some vibration in the rear during acceleration.
So I have a couple questions:
can I take it to the dealer and see if they can diagnose anything to been some of the recalls ?
Also how do I know for sure if it has a higher gear installed or not ?
is there any alarms that will work with the factory remote ?

anyways I guess it's too much too list/ask so I'll move on to the pics and see what people think.

Does it grind everytime you shift to 3rd? Are pushing the clutch all the way in before shifts? These trannys seem to be a little notchier then others.

When you say clutch noise on decel, is it kind of a winding noise? Thats pretty normal. Some chattering is also normal.

it doesn't grind going into the gear. it just seems that once it's in gear, and on decel(off throttle) it grinds. It does this on third only.
I'm new to s2000's so it might be the clutch noise I'm not sure.

well It appears as it's just being clutch buzz.
I'm putting a a 2 way alarm this week and a gps unit in a couple more weeks.
I also got a pioneer dvd/nav player.
i'm also looking for some oem tweeters so i can put my components in. Any one know if someone besides the dealer has them ?

Welcome I just skimmed over your notes and went to the pix. I did notice you asking about alarm that may work with factory remote. Check out this site http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-03.html has some decent factory stuff and you may be able to use the factory alarm for the s2. Its a bit on the high side but its nice.

the car has the oem alarm with all the features listed in the page, but I want a 2 way alarm with a power back up in case they disconnect the battery.
