Default Soon to be a s2k owner

so like the title said, i have a good deal with a 2002 s2k with 140k miles . Clean title, no accident report on carfax..

I am wondering since it has such a high mileages...
Is there anything i should be aware of?
I know i will keep the engine stock 99% sure ,maybe just a cold air intake

so s2ki , HERE I COME

I heard you have to adjust the valve? how often do you do that?
how hard to keep the engine in good shape?
how reliable is the f20 engine? i have a ep3 ..so i am new to the F series

Why are you getting one with such high miles? just wondering, it shouldnt be a problem considering it is a Honda

140,000 miles, that's more than a daily driver, you must have gotten a hell of a low price for that car...

I wouldn't even recommend getting an 100k+ miles car unless you're THAT tight on budget. Hell if you're that tight, don't get an S. Generally reliability shouldn't be an issue as it's Honda, but with such a long mileage, you just have no idea how the car was driven. Lots of uncertainties = no good.

You could be taking on someone else's problems with that mileage. But maybe not either, could be a great car with lots of life left.
