I've been looking for a s2000 for the past couple of weeks and my IS300 finally sold, so I decided to go check out Gwinette Place Honda and look at a 2004 s2k they had. It was a obvious respray on the front and rear bumpers and the headlights didnt match. The salesman wouldn't admit the car had been in an accident. O well... he said he wanted to take me on a test drive and I said sure ill let you drive first. so we jumped in the car, and he put the keys in and i was said dont forget the push start, because i had read the storys of people not knowing, so the salesman mumbled "yeah those are nice" and keys playing with the key trying to turn in and taking it out such. so i chuckled a little bit and said look by your left hand man and he finally understood... after this i am done with stealerships. i looked on craigslist and found a few for sale. any advice or s2000 specific questions to ask when buying from a private owner?
