I won't say it is a bad idea to daily the S2000 simply because there is plenty out there with hundreds of thousands of miles on them. It all depends how you car for and respect the car. Sounds like you have a car for the crappy weather as well so thats covered. Garage to me is a must due to high theft and vandalism of the S2000.

When it comes to mods the only advise I will give is take your time. Really research, save and buy things once. I will echo the Q300 (and all invidia products) as being a junk exhaust. There are better choices for the same amount of money or maybe a little more.

One last warning. AP1's are tail happy. You have bad weather, rain snow etc. Good tires and responsible driving will keep you and your car in one piece. I am tired of seeing "it was raining and I hit vtec going through a turn and it spun do you think its totaled?" kind of posts because the driver was to stupid and irresponsible to drive appropriate to the conditions.

Its that simple.

AP1 was my dream car as a kid.

I could've bought one at multiple points before I actually did, but I waited until I had a reliable daily b/c I didn't want daily the S2000. I'm much better off for it.
I have a 2nd car to drive (e36) but I have every plan to daily it. It's an amazing car all around why would I want it sitting? It's meant to have the top down outing a smile on your face everyday!

Great pointers. When I get it, it'll be stock for a while then I'll put good tires and wheels. I know there's not much to do for power as Honda made little room for modding the F? Definitely won't be driving like an idiot in the rain...
