Well, the motor will not stay on. Drain the oil and it was black. Oil analysis says there's copper in the oil and when we pulled the pan, there was visible bits of metal in there. It's weird though, because there's no black smoke coming out of the exaust. I can't afford to fix it. I'm going to cut my losses and let the bank repo the car.

I've got no other choice. It was my only car and I've only made one payment on it. I just got out of the military and I'm going back to school. I can't afford to make payments and do $6000 in repairs.

My craigslist notifier search result this morning shot back 2 results from their. I hadn't read through all of these posts to know they were located in Fullerton and Stanton so I almost asked that very question. I noticed though, in their ads they don't mention their company usually, but they do reveal it in their pictures on the license plates and or frames:
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac...014221315.html
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac...014225015.html

Kind of sucks to see a Laguna Blue Pearl come up "YAY!!!"
only to find out it's SCKars "Awww..."

The ads are very deceptive. When you see the pictures, the cars look to be in very good condition and are typically described in ideal terms. If it weren't for so many people here referencing the numerous bad experiences with SCKars I wouldn't believe it.

Don't buy that Laguna Blue S2k!!!!!! It was sitting there for almost a year with a ripped top, no seats, and would not even run!!!! I saw it there in the back in January. This is another S2k built from a bunch of other cars.

Someone not interested in the cars interior?

Road race guys that'll cage it, put their own seats and steering wheel in it anyway.

There is a market for the cars that are cosmetically devalued because the next person IS going to abuse them. The bad thing is that if the interiors torn up, exterior is all messed up, than chances are this person never changed their oil or took care of the mechanical portions of the car.

I wouldn't have believed this. They are selling this in a 2005 body. Its sad that people are so deceiving. You cannot tell me that they do not know that those parts are not stock. They sell these cars on a regular basis. Ignorance only gets you so far.
