hey there all im a current evo 8 owner who is possibly thinking of switching over to an S2000 im in love with the luguna blue color, anyways my question to you all is what did you guys end up paying out the door for your S2?

Yikes, thats a loaded question. Are you talking a new MY08, a new MY09 or something used (which raises a whole different set of questions)?

Your question is impossible to answer, but all I'll tell you is unless you plan on going FI, get used to a HUGE lack of power coming from an Evo.

LMAO i already know the power difference, im wondering how much do one of these bad boys go for new out the door, the basic one not the CR edition just a regular s2000. i see online there about $36 and some change im question is has anyone gotten one lower that the msrp. i might actually go check one out this weekend

Finding a new one might be a little tough, especially in Laguna. Production stopped last month. In March09, I would have told you that you could pick up a new one for $28k...now that supplies are running out we've seen dealers start to raise prices...some have paid close to MSRP.

I would recommend looking in the used market, where you can get an 06 Laguna in the $19-21k range.

Like Negcamber just said, production has stopped so each day, the supply potentially drops. There were 260 Laguna's produced in 2008 and only 26 produced in 2009 so just finding a new one may be tough.

interesting, but why has production stoped? also i actually was looking into trading with someone i did put a trade thread up but i believe the mods toke it off im not so sure. so you all think as of now they have raised the price on them? even above msrp?
