Carbing rollcage pics?

And a helmet. That is why a bolt-in cage can be used for shows, but taken out before it breaks your skull in half.
As far as the strength of Carbing's aluminum, I don't know what kind they use but their products are extremely strong and light as well. I just hope that this cage has the helmet cutout on the left side for US cars.

Ask him to critic the design please. I want to hear a definate explaination.
I've already said that chromoly is stronger than steel.
None of us are going to race in Japan.....so it doesn't matter if the cage is sanctioned there, but a flip in Japan would be the same anywhere, if they're safe enough there they'll be safe here too.
Those pictures aren't of a cage, that's a tube-chassis.
An aftermarket roll bar/cage is to increase the distance between your head and the ground incase of a roll over by dissipating the force throughout the chassis and stay erected.... so unless you know exactly how hard the metals are and exact angles where the downward force will be distributed its impossible to critic a cage.

I appreciate the constructive criticism here guys. But lets get back on topic, shall we?
I know Ben and bulletproof is being lazy and doesnt want to show us pics of the carbing cage, so the more we PM them and harass them, the quicker we will see pics.

But hereing you say the chromoly is stronger is the same as me saying I heard the cage/roll bar are of poor design.
You may be right about which is stronger, but I'm not really familiar with many builders using chromoly. The pictures were to show the type of expert I'm confiding in when asked for advice on my own set up. We need to have a modified lite car built and race ready in less than 30 days, so I doubt we'll be discussing cages for my car. If you feel the Cusco, Carbing, Safety 21 bars are sufficent for your needs than you don't need my proof of why I don't like them or have been steered from them. I personally think a roll bar of any make is pretty foolish in a street car that never sees the track. But it seems the JDM scene is more for show than go these days anyways.

I snapped some photos. Give me a little time to get them posted.
I'll also post a Dash Sports branded steel cage as well for the comparison (Dash Sports is the competition brand for Okuyama, designed for ultimate strength rather than for light weight).
My impression is that the carbing 4pt bar is EXTREMELY lightweight, the welding and quality is very impressive as I expected, and Okuyama says it is designed to hold up in a roll over so it should be functional (I've never seen Okuyama lie or overstate their product's ability). Plus I've been told that the design of the Carbing and all Okuyama/Dash Sports bars are made to meet JAF regulations in Japan.

I'll get you guys some pics.
FYI, after seeing these initial samples that I ordered, I went ahead and placed an order for the 8pt carbing aluminium cage for my car. It'll be 2-3 months but I'll get some killer photos of that when it arrives (the version I selected has the X design linking the rear hoops).
