Carbing rollcage pics?
you guys realize you're comparing 4 point roll bars, 6 point roll cages, and full out race cages? not to mention that you're also comparing bolt in cages to weld in ones? lets be honest, no bolt in cage will hold up to a weld in one. End of story. Doesn't matter if it's a cusco or a frickin flyin miata bar.
please compare relevant things, otherwise steve c might show up and just make us all feel bad about ourselves.

fuzy24, we're comparing different cages to each other in order to get a point of reference, we know the difference between a 4-point bolt in cage and a full 8-point weld-in race cage.
Highrpmek, I'm going to tell you this one more time. No roll cage comes pre-sanctioned by the SCCA for our cars -- the tech inspects it at the raceway and decides if it's up to par.
That being said, you really need at least one diagonal brace between the main hoop in order to pass SCCA inspection with a knowledgeable tech -- since the Carbing 8-point cage has two according to Ben, it should easily pass. Can't wait for the pics Ben!

Carbing's 8P doesn't come with a cross between the main hoop, its a cross between the two bars in the back of the car.

I never chime in on this board but I check it out all the time. I have a 05' EVO and I bought the DASH 11 point cage for my EVO. I was highly dissapointed in it and didn't even put it in the car. It is now a 2000 dollar paper weight in my garage. I love the carbing strut bars and didn't want the Cusco cage so I purchased the DASH cage thinking it was of the same quality as the strut bars but it does not live up to my expectations of what I thought it was going to be. hope that helps.
JB1, what in particular was the problem with the DASH cage you have? I've sold a few in the past and my customers loved them! Two in particular for the Altezza.
Dash is heavy, not pretty but designed to be full race functional. If you're comparing it on looks to the Carbing aluminium bars they're not in the same league. But was the functionality bad on your Dash cage or was it asthectically not pleasing?
