You should have emailed me! How do you know the knock sensor is 'kicking in'? Send me an email with your serial number etc.

The SN should be hand written on a sticker Giles added to the unit ..



So from your post above Because I forwarded the e-mail to Giles and never heard from you again , I gave you bad customer service ??? How would I have known you were not in contact with Giles ?? I don't look all over S2ki for hidden messages .. you should have emailed me again .

There are reasons we don't leave the MAPs unlocks . Theft is one , as it is two easy to share the maps via the internet . Giles has hundreds of hours designing those maps and research . Two , Giles tuning method is unique and is not to be copied by other tuners for there benefit .. it is not a learning tool .

Always best to just email me VS S2ki as I have alot on my plate . I am part of like 20 forums and ask all of them to use e-mail . Let Giles and I know what we can do to help . Unlocking the unit is not a option . You sent that e-mail back in September and now are just posting or looking for a response , why have you not emailed me back since I just checked my email and that was the last I have heard from you .. one would think all is well .. like I said I dont know what is going on if I am not in the loop .

Thank for venting in public without giving us a chance or letting me know you have not been in contact with Giles .I guess the free plugs , falsifying the package contents so save you money from being taxed and what not is poor customer service ??? Oh and I still have every email since MAY 08 and not once did you mention you had a higher compression engine . So before you start going off all over the internet you need to make sure people have the facts . Things to think about when you let this go for months and did not respond till 5 months later to say you have not heard anything We are not bad guys and we go above and beyond to help our customers ...

So feel free to email me or Giles to discuss , But Giles is the only one that can help with the MAPs Giles does not work in the same location as I so we dont see each other everyday Best to just copy both of us on e-mail Scott@ballisticmotorsports.org and Giles@holyrollerdyno.com

Turns out jumpers are the same for 06+ DBW, thanks Giles and Scott for this thread and all the hw you guys have done.

Sent you the mail saying I had the JDM setup as posted above. I don't need to lie about anything

The good news is that I have been speaking to Giles and when the car is back on the road (I take it off for the winter), we can get some readings on what maybe differing sensor outputs.

This would make sense and I look forward to getting it sorted.

it was not mentioned till the last email in September after the purchase .

I email you backed the conversation unless you want it posted here ? But not looking to make a case out of it . I just feel that you threw me under the bus .


Glad Giles is working it out with you . I believe it should be the same maps as the Aussie cars

Ugh, this thread just gave me a sick feeling in my stomach. I purchased a used EMU off of ebay last year. I am going to use it with an SC kit and was told by the seller it was bought for a Neon SRT4 but was not what he was looking for.

Anywho, if I hook this thing up and the PO had set a password, am I totally screwed or is there a way to wipe the thing totally clean so I can use it?

If there is a way to do this and it is top secret, feel free to PM me. I have no intention of helping people steal stuff, just to make use of what I paid for.
